Rooted in the cultural landscape of Southern China, Liu Yishan works at the intersection of curating, fashion, design, photography, and visual storytelling. She draws from Intangible Heritage and Lingnan’s layered urban memory to highlight voices often overlooked in rapidly changing cities. Aspiring to become a Storyteller of Lingnan, she aims to develop Exhibition and Public Cultural Practices that allow Regional Narratives to continue growing and be newly understood in the present.
